Thing To Carry

All passengers are limited to two (2) items of luggage each: One suitcase or backpack, with a maximum weight of 20kg and maximum size of 70 liters. One piece of hand luggage, with a maximum weight of 7kg.

It is advisable that you should pack light with some set of clothes, good walking shoes, camera. Light and easy dry clothes for summer wear, wind breaker for the Autumn and warm clothes in the for the Winter.

Cancellation is made over 30 days before the departure date; there will be no charge for cancellation except the forfeiture of the deposit.
Cancellation from day 30 till 15 days before the departure date of the booking; 40% of the total sum per person will be charged.
Cancellation from day 14 till 7 days before the departure dates; 60% of the total amount per person will be charged.
Cancellation within 6 days before the departure date of booking or No show; the full amount will be charged. If, rather than cancel, you wish to transfer your booking to another person, we can arrange this subject to your instruction, and the transferee providing his or her full details, confirmation of acceptance of the terms of the contract, agreement to pay our costs incurred in making the transfer and any outstanding balance of the total price.

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival (N/A)

On arrival into Siem Reap, the gateway to the majestic temples of Angkor and a charming little city, your local English speaking guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for check in. The remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy your astonishing hotel or to independently explore the local town (your guide and driver will be at your disposal). This evening, Angkor Decoded is the perfect introduction for first-time travellers to the temples of Cambodia. Presented by Bambu Stage, this private Angkor Decoded show features the use of a large model to build Angkorian temples right in front of your eyes–as well as with your participation! Complemented by captivating storytelling, live drawing, projections, and music, Angkor Decoded provides a rich story that’s fun, interactive and engaging. An essential experience for those wishing to gain important insight on Khmer temples prior to visiting the Angkor Archaeological Park.

Day 2: Siem Reap – Angkor Complex (B/L)

This exceptional day combines two of the most amazing means of experiencing Angkor Wat: first from the air, overlooking the iconic temple and its surroundings from a helicopter, and then with an insider’s perspective of the temple’s features with a private tour with an Angkor Archaeologist.

Departing the hotel after breakfast, discover the temples of Angkor from a bird’s eye view of a helicopter. A 30-minute scenic private flight will take you over Angkor Wat and the lesser-known temples scattered in the jungle, before taking a turn towards the mighty Tonlé Sap Lake. Seeing the temples and the floating villages from above will certainly be an intriguing way to see Cambodia! Soar past all of the must see sights of Cambodia , including Angkor Wat and the Tonle Sap Lake making it a truly special experience. During this flight you will also take in views of Phnom Bok in the Roluos Group including the 9th Century Bakong Temple with its magnificent architecture and picturesque moat. Flying time is approximately 30 minutes.

Note: the helicopter flight does not fly over Angkor Wat itself as this is prohibited without special permission. However you will see the famous temple from an excellent angle).

After lunch at your hotel (own account), return to Angkor Wat with your personal archaeologist guide. Ambling through this sprawling temple, it is easy to see why it has become the symbol of Cambodia. The massive 12th-century structure resembles Mount Meru, mythical home of the gods, and is filled with carvings everywhere. Be awe-inspired by the sheer scale of Angkor Wat, which took nearly 40 years to build, and learn it’s secrets from an expert in Khmer archaeology. With a treasure trove of photos and memories, return to town to freshen up for the evening. Tonight, enjoy a magical moonlight dinner at Preah An Kau Sai, the only Angkor-era ruins in Siem Reap town. Dine by candlelight beside centuries-old sandstone structures and enjoy tales of discovery of Cambodia through a storytelling performance accompanied by old black and white photography. You will be picked up by air-conditioned vehicle from hotel for transfer to Wat Preah An Kau Sai, a modern Buddhist pagoda featuring the ruins of a 10th century Angkorian temple. Arrive at the temple just after sunset, with the temple illuminated by torchlight. Then, enjoy a five course Khmer meal, dining under the moon and stars. After each course is served, a storyteller will recite a tale, accompanied by early photographs of Cambodia, offering insight on Khmer culture and history as the meal and the evening progress. Day 3: Siem Reap Departure (B)

Wake up in the early hours of the morning and drive through the darkness to the Angkor Archaeological Park for sunrise and a champagne breakfast. Select a good viewpoint on the landing platform of the Sras Srang, known as the “Royal Bath”, and watch the sunrise over the 700 meter-long pool built by the great King Jayavarman VII. Behind you, atop the entrance to Banteay Kdei temple, the smiling face of the King in the likeness of the Buddha emerges from darkness as it is bathed in the early morning light: an unforgettable experience. Once the sun is up, go inside nearby Ta Prohm. Built between the late-12th to early 13th centuries, Ta Prohm is unique in that it has been left largely overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground. This makes the ‘Tomb Raider Temple’ one of the most picturesque and memorable of the Angkor temples, particularly when the early morning sunlight illuminates the sandstone and there are far fewer visitors than during the remainder of the day (Note: arrive at the East entrance before 7:30am to be one of the first to enter the temple).

After exploring Ta Prohm, return to the Srah Srang for your champagne breakfast, which is served on the secluded south side of the pond. After your meal, you may return to the hotel to relax or visit any temple that you wish until it is time for you to return to your hotel for checkout and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
