Quang Binh is a district of Ha Giang Province, a stunning region as yet relatively untouched by tourism. The area offers some of the most beautiful off the beaten track trekking tours in the North of Vietnam. The are is the living space of the Pathen ethnic communiy which has their unique culture and their way of life. They celebrate many traditional festivals and ceremonies each year, including the Lunar New Year festival, the lifetime ceremony, and worship rituals relating to agriculture, such as the new rice ceremony and praying for rain.
